Jared enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life including outdoor recreation (hunting, camping, fishing, snowmobiling) and especially loved spending time on the family land in Kilgore. Jared always loved to read, especially fantasy novels, and had a knack for utilizing all sorts of electronic gadgets. He loved his family dearly. Some of our favorite memories of Jared are playing board games together, especially The Farming Game. His smile was huge and infectious when he played with his nieces and nephews.
