Jaye K. Stover, Jr., 60, of Paxton died at 10:57 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at ASTA Care of Ford County, Paxton.There will be no local services; burial will be in Wyoming at a later date. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.Mr. Stover was born January 22, 1954 in Watseka a son of Jaye Kaye and Joan Kempf Stover, Sr. He married Cynthia Long in 1977. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Jaye (Karen) Stover of Sourlake, TX; one son, Jason (Miranda) Stover of Savoy; one daughter, Kim (Aaron Williams) Stover of Loda; three grandchildren; three sisters, Alisa (Bill Blackmore) Guynn of St. Joseph, Elaina (Jerry) Lee of Sourlake, TX and Christine Stover of Urbana.He was preceded in death by his mother and one daughter.Mr. Stover graduated from Hoopeston High School in 1972 and attended Danville Area Community College. He was a union journeyman lineman for 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, gardening and hunting.Memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
