Not sure what to say?

I'm so very sorry, Jason was always so kind to me, I'll remember him that way. Dad was telling me stories about Jayson helping him build a fence, and how funny they were, cutting up with each other. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My deepest condolences. It is really hard to lose someone so closely to you. Sending hugs and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Jayson at Walmart. He was the sweetest person. You are all in my thoughts & prayers. God bless you all. Sending HUGE hugs

Nothing will ever makes sense when the best people leave so soon. You are one of a kind and I'm proud to be your cousin and have such fun memories over the 43 years. Give Calvin BIG hugs from me. Hope you are having a blast together and causing trouble . I'll miss you dude.

JAYSON's Obituary

Jayson Wright, 43, of Moose Lake, is finally free from his struggles. He passed away peacefully from natural causes on October 30, 2025, at Essentia Health in Moose Lake.

Born on March 3, 1982, in Moose Lake, Jayson came into the world full of life and laughter. He attended high school for several years in Willmar, MN, where he made many lasting friendships. Later, he took a brave step by moving to Springfield, Missouri, where he quickly found a new circle of true friends—Chelsea, Zach, and Josie.

Over the years, Jayson worked at various group homes in Minnesota, as well as at Walmart. He eventually settled in Marshall, MN, where he continued his meaningful work in another group home. There, he formed close friendships with Jeff, Chad, Eric, and many others—his “group home friends.”

Jayson will always be remembered for his generosity and kindness. He had a heart that put others before himself and a spirit that could light up any room. Known as the “life of the party,” he loved to make people laugh and always left those around him smiling. Once you were a friend of Jayson’s, you were a friend for life. He will be missed more deeply than words can express.

Jayson’s hobbies reflected his creative and joyful nature. He loved painting by number, collecting baseball cards, exploring YouTube, cooking, listening to music, and following almost every sport.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Barb Nelson and Vera Wright; grandfather, Dale Wright; aunt, Tammie Wright; and cousin, Calvin Jeffers.

Jayson is survived by his loving mother, Deb Halls of Moose Lake; father, Mike Wright of Searcy, AR; brothers, Justin Wright of Raymond, MN, and Kody (Tayler) Halls of Moose Lake; sisters, Courtney (Bailey) Stevens of Searcy, AR, Kaitlyn Wright of Searcy, AR, and Maddie Wright of Searcy, AR; and grandfather, Roger Nelson of Moose Lake. He will also be deeply missed by his forever friend, Holly Setrum, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who will forever hold his memory close.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, beginning at 12:00 noon until the 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Life at Hamlin Hansen Kosloski Funeral Home, 609 Folz Blvd., Moose Lake, MN. During the service, there will be a time to share memories of Jayson. Inurnment will follow the luncheon at Sunset Cemetery in Moose Lake
