I just want to offer condolences to my childhood friends Susan and Shannon. I was saddened to hear of the passing of your mother. She was always kind to both me and my sister Toya when we were growing up. Earths loss is heavens gain. Heaven has gained another angel. We are praying for your family

Jean Marie Dotson Traylor was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, who had a big impact on her family and will be forever cherished.  She was welcomed home on December 14, 2025, at the age of 89.  She was born to Ozanna Dotson on August 15, 1936.  From a young age, she embraced her faith in God.  She graduated Frobel High School in 1954.

Jean is predeceased by her ex-husband Theodore Traylor; grandmother Florance Dotson; mother Ozanna Larkin; aunts Roanna West, Blanche Teal, Mercy Members; daughter Rosalind Toliber, great-great grandson Elijah Reid Burdette; sister Florance Euella Bryant; the father of her last two children Samuel Wells Sr; son-in-law Michael Brown; and great grand dog Boosie.

She is survived by her daughters: Kim Doyle, Lori Traylor-Brown, Susan Jones, and Shannon Wells; grandchildren: Ebonie Doyle, Nakia Toliber, Ashley Toliber-Bailey (Anthony), Loreal, Jasmine, Jessica and Janeal Brown, Shaun Thompson, Indigo, Sienna, Sebastian and Amari Berg; great-grandchildren: Meikala Usher-Burdette, Lathan Mister, Mekell Brown, Kendall Toliber, Meyoki Doyle, Princeton Bailey, Aycee Sells, Addisyn and Lyncoln Bailey.

Jean’s unwavering commitment to her family and faith will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
