Not sure what to say?

Condolences on the loss of your dear mother. She was a great lady. I'll never forget our Canada camping trip in 1966. I see Doug's message beat me by exactly one year. It's good to see that he's still out there. The three of us had some great times together.

I wanted you to know that Jean's volunteer work was not in vain. She was a very kind woman and never judged. Her kindness did not go unnoticed . she was very much appreciated and helped so many people.

Dear Eige Family
The memories of Ms. Jean resonate warmth, love, care, and a compassaionate heart. Her love was contagious; her smile was radiant; her heart was filled with joy. Thank you Jean for living a life filled with love and sacrifice. We will be holding you in our prayers and may the comfort of Jesus wrap around you during these days. Hide under the Shelter of the most High and you will be given rest. Ms. Jean's homegoing is bittersweet yet we find comfort knowing that we...

Dear Adam and Marianne, I am sorry for the loss of your grandmother. I'm happy that Jean was my friend and very close to the same age. We sometimes worked together in DAR, Garden Club and Central Iowa Ornithologists.

Dear Dennis, Lois and family,
I am thinking of you at this difficult time. God's peace to all of you.

I want to remember Jean working together with my mother, Muriel Manning, in the Girl Scouts. They enjoyed a number of years in Girl Scout leadership. She was a sweet and caring woman.

I was very sorry to hear of Jean's passing but how wonderful to have lived this long and remain close to family. I spent much of my childhood playing at the Eige home with Denny. I remember Jean and Norman as always welcoming and generous. It was a blessing to grow up in a beautiful, small mid-western town like Marshalltown with loving families like the Eiges.

So sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I have such great memories of those days on swim team, and how supportive both your parents were. I see a lot of her in both her children.

Denny and family,
Very sorry to see that Denny's mom passed away. Thinking of all of you.
