Jean Krueger Obituary
Jean Elizabeth Krueger, age 68 of Overland, Missouri, Asleep in Jesus, Sunday, October 20, 2019. Jean was born on Friday, January 5, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri, the second child of the late Arthur Drewes and Irma Caroline (nee Lindner) Krueger. She grew up in Overland where she attended Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and was baptized and confirmed. She also attended Our Redeemer Lutheran School where she spent many happy years with her two brothers, Keith and Mark, and most dearest sister, Ann. Jean attended Lutheran High School North and graduated from Ritenour High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Maryville University and worked for the St. Louis County Police, AT&T, Clark Oil, Well Fargo Advisors and Washington University.
Jean is survived by all of her siblings, Keith (late Gayle) Krueger, Mark (Jonna) Krueger and Ann Krueger. Jean was also blessed by the gift of five nephews, Grant (Elizabeth) Krueger, Ben (Kelly) Krueger, Tim (Jessica) Krueger, Christopher (Alissa) Krueger and Nick (his wife to be, Anastasia Vaccaro) and one dear niece, Kate (Cris) Maina. They have shared many happy years together and grew to love each other greatly. They brought Jean much joy and happiness. The Lord's blessings seem to never end and the next generation brought eight great-nieces and three great-nephews. Joyful little ones again touched Jeans heart deeply and her joy continued on. Jean is survived by all of them and awaits their presence in heaven.
Jean was blessed to have many life long Christian friends whom she cherished. Her most dearest friend, Debbie Ryden, stood by her side faithfully through the long eight year battle with cancer. During her illness, Jean never questioned "Why me?" but instead she always looked to the Lord and took comfort in knowing that he would never give her more than she could handle. Now, as her beautiful spirit returns to the Lord, we thank Him for His great gift of having her with us here on earth.
Services: Visitation at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9135 Shelley Avenue, Overland, Missouri on Wednesday, October 23 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial follows at Zion Cemetery, 7401 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Louis, Missouri.
Memorials: Jean's family requests that donations be made in her memory to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church so that they may continue their mission for Christ and that the glory of the Lord may continue to shine as it has through our beloved Jean.

Jean was a treasure. I met her thru her brother Mark when he and I worked together. She was so openly caring and loving toward him. It was so sweet and has left a lasting memory of her with me. Although I did not see her often, I felt like she was a friend thru the conversations we had. Happy she is at peace. Love and hugs for her family.

Ann Dear, know you are in my heart as you learn to live without Jean on this Earth. Sisters are well, the best! I know youll feel her spirit as thats how it goes with me, anyway, with my loves who arent here now.

I offer my sympathy to her family and friends. May God give you all comfort and peace as I know He has provided to Jean. I loved taking care of her at the Infusion Center at Siteman. Ann you were a special sister to her!!
