You didn’t accept wrongdoing, and you believed that people should be responsible for their actions. Because of that, you taught some of us good values. Jean's Obituary
Jean Luxama - Of Somerville and Pompano Beach, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025. He was 94 years old.
Born and raised in Haiti, he was the beloved son of Vixe and Viergelit (Camille) Vixama. Jean was a successful farmer.
He was the devoted father to 11 children. He is also lovingly survived by many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church 2254 Massachusetts Ave. Cambridge on Saturday, January 10th at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family prior to mass from 8:30AM to 10:00AM.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
