Jean was a wonderful neighbor that became like a second mother to me. She showed me so much love, wisdom, and kindness. Jean modeled a strong women who was full of compassion. She made me believe in myself and showed me that you can pursue your passions, love your family, and reach places you never dreamed up. The mark she has left on so many people is amazing.

Jean was such a special lady! We are so blessed to have known her and be her friends. Our thoughts and prayers to all of her family.

Jean was a wonderful neighbor of my parents, Walt and Paula Windhorst. I always enjoyed talking to Jean when I came for a visit. She always seemed to know the latest of what was going on in town. Jean and my mother became much closer after their husbands passed away. It was nice to know that the two looked after each other and talked several times a week. When my mother passed away about 2 years ago, I was somewhat surprised to hear that Jean moved away from the town she always loved,...

What a wonderful lady! Our family (Kirk & Betty Schwieger) moved onto her parents property in Grand Island NE when Jean was 12 years old and she remained a dear friend since that time. To her family who meant so very much to her, we wish to convey our sincere sympathy and sorrow for your loss.

Jean was an old family friend of my parents, Kirk and Betty Schwieger. She helped get me a job with the Hall County Judge when I was 16 and she babysat for my baby daughter before I moved to the Omaha area. Loved her a bunch! Sheryl Schwieger Schendt Herman

Darryn and DJ I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to you and your family on your mothers passing. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
