Jeane's Obituary

Jeane L. Bright of Levittown died peacefully on Friday, August 16, 2013 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was 87.Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Bright was raised in Philadelphia where she graduated from Germantown High School. Formerly residing in Baltimore, Omaha, NE and Fairless Hills, she has been a resident of Highland Park since 1967.Mrs. Bright worked as a machinist at the Philadelphia Naval Yard during World War II and was also formerly employed at O'Boyle's Restaurant and Seafood Shanty.She enjoyed going on cruises, Broadway shows and bus trips to the casinos.Mrs. Bright was the wife of the late Charles C. Bright Sr. and grandmother of the late Brian George.She was the loving mother of Sharon Moseley (Tom) of Omaha, NE, Valerie George (Charles) of Smithvale, NJ, Lisa Stawniak (Tom) of Levittown, Charles C. "Cliff" Bright of Morrisville and Rick E. (Sue) Bright of Fairless Hills.She will also be missed by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, her sister Lillian Frisberg of Ocean City, NJ, several nieces and nephews and her longtime friends Gertrude Matlack of Levittown and Lucette Forchetti of Langhorne. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday from 5 until 6:30 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Home for Children, 800 North York Rd., Warminster, PA 18974.
