Any day seeing her and talking with her was just the best!! Jeanette D. Conley, affectionately known as "Jan", passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 29, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Conley. Jan was a devoted mother to Kevin Conley and his wife Cindy of Haverhill and Georgetown, ME, and Kathy Conley and her partner Bob Dacey of Boston. She was predeceased by her son Mark Conley, and is survived by his wife Marcy of Stow, MA. Jan was a dear sister to Connie Volante-Finn of Block Island, RI and her late husband Steve, and was predeceased by her brother Robert Volante. She was a cherished nana to her grandchildren Joseph, Christina, John, James, Michael, Brian, Katie, and Danny, and a great grandmother to Saoirse, Ronan, Patrick, Liam, Brendan, and Nicholas.
After her working career as a Real Estate Broker in Arlington, Jan pursued higher education and proudly graduated from Harvard University at the age of 80. A funeral procession will be held from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Tuesday morning, November 4th, at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Agnes Church, Arlington at 10:00. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be on Monday, November 3rd, from 4:00 to 7:00. Interment will be private. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jan's memory to the Tunnel for Towers Foundation. t2t.org.
