Jeanne Lee Keil

Jeanne Lee Keil, age 69 of Nappanee, IN, died at 5:13 pm on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Esther’s House, Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.  Jeanne was born on May 27, 1956 in Waterloo, IA to LeeRoy and Martha (Huff) Love. Jeanne was a NorthWood High School graduate and lived most of her life in the Nappanee area.  On February 19, 1977, Jeanne married Rodney Keil in Nappanee.  Together they had attended the First Brethren Church.  Jeanne loved the outdoors and could often be found outside reading her favorite book.  She also enjoyed crocheting and playing cards, especially Euchre.  Jeanne enjoyed taking family vacations.  Her family was very important to her; she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She is survived by her husband of over 48 years, Rodney Keil of Nappanee; 2 children: Jeremy (Kate) Keil of Warsaw, IN and Kristi (Stephen) Raines of Nappanee; 6 grandchildren: Conner, Clayton, Camden Keil of Warsaw and Kaid, Emberley, and Lucille Raines of Nappanee; mother, Martha Love of Nappanee; and 2 siblings: Randy (Dixie) Love of Columbus, IN and Shelly (Carlisle) Roose of Nappanee.  Jeanne was preceded in death by her father. Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeanne’s name can be given to the Center for Hospice Care.
