Jeanne M. Utano, 82 of Liverpool died peacefully on Friday at her home. She was born on October 14, 1935 in Wolcott, NY and graduated from Valley High School in 1954. She met her beloved Tony on a blind date and were married on August 13, 1960. Jeanne retired in 2000 from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department after 10 years of employment. She loved to travel and was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Liverpool.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 57 years, Anthony, two daughters, Deborah Wilhelm and Sue (Paul) Pulvere, two sons, Michael (Lori) and Patrick (Deborah), 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 4 to 7 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Inc., 300 Second Street, Liverpool. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the funeral home with the Rite of Committal and burial to follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
