Jeannette L. Markessinis (née Snyder) was born on November 12, 1945, in Marshallton, Delaware, and passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, in Wilmington, Delaware. At the time of her passing, she was lovingly surrounded by her son, Lawrence Joseph, and granddaughter, Danielle.
Jeannette is survived by her sons, John, LJ and Gerald, as well as her beloved grandchildren: Shani, Dylan, Shelby, Skye, Danielle, and Callan. She was predeceased by her husband, James Markessinis, who passed away in 1995.
Throughout her life, Jeannette dedicated many years of service to Delmarva Power Company before her retirement. Known for her larger-than-life personality and her unwavering generosity, she touched the lives of all who knew her.
Her warmth, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
