Jefferson Franklin "Jeff" Ragland, Jr.

Jefferson Franklin "Jeff" Ragland, Jr, age 74, passed away Tuesday morning, November 21, 2017, in Electra Memorial Hospital.

No services are planned.  Cremation arrangements were uncder the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.

Jeff was born April 5, 1943 in Red Oak, Oklahoma to the late Jefferson Franklin Ragland, Sr. and Teresa Claudelee Owen Ragland.

He graduated from Leon High School in Leon, Oklahoma and attended Eastern Oklahoma State College.

During the Vietnam War, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp where he earned a Purple Heart.  After his tour of duty, he came back home and finished college.  He then went to work in the oilfield.

Jeff enjoyed playing dominoes, playing on the computer, his grandkids and aggravating his wife, Dink.

Survivors include his wife, Dink Ragland of Electra; two sons, Willard Ragland and wife, Marcia of Clayton, Oklahoma, and Albert Ragland and wife, Tessa of Vernon; one brother, Randy Ragland and wife, Kathy of Pocola, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Diana Ragland.
