Robbie, Jeffery and Taylor I cannot imagine your pain and grief. I am so sorry for your loss. Growing up with Jeff was a blessing that I will forever have in my heart. I loved him dearly. I pray Gods love and comfort over all of the family.

Robbie. Jeff did all my HVAC when I owned Brian's Picture Framing. He was a great guy and will be missed. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers .

Eddie and Kay Calhoun send condolences and love to Robbie and the family. Jeff was a good guy. We thought the world of him. . Sorry I didn’t have the chance to fix his venison and wild rice I promised him.

So sorry to hear about Jeff..he was our heating and cooling man and was very good at what he done..we will miss seeing him coming to our home, always so polite and friendly. Prayers for Robbie and the rest of the family..God Bless!!

Jeffery's Obituary

Jeff Burke, Sr. was born at the Helena Hospital on June 28, 1963, the first born child of his doting parents, Robert and Ada.  He was later the proud big brother of two sisters, Jan and Robin.  During his youth, he lived in West Memphis and later moved to Marvell, Arkansas.

On January 6, 1984 Jeff married the love of his of his life Robbie Wooten.   The couple has lived in Phillips County.  Jeff began his own heating and cooling business and the happy couple soon added two children to complete their family.

In his spare time, Jeff was an avid deer hunter and fisherman.  He was of the Church of Christ faith. 

On January 23, Jeff passed away in Sherwood, Arkansas.

Jeff leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Robbie; son, Jeff Burke, Jr. (Faye) of Lexa; daughter, Taylor Gardener (Stefan) of Lexa; four grandchildren, Mollie Higgins, Kaylee Morgan, Evie Morgan and Carley White; a sister, Robin Board of Louisville, Kentucky; father-in-law, Robert Wooten; sister-in-law, Michelle Haycraft; a special nephew, Zach Collier; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sydney Janette Burke; mother-in-law, Geraldine Wooten and two brothers-in-law, Tommy Haycraft and Brent Board.

A graveside memorial service for Jeff will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.

In lieu of flowers, donations towards tuition at Desoto school for Jeff’s granddaughters would be greatly appreciated.  This can be paid straight to the school or through Venmo (@DesotoSchool-Inc).  Please be sure to add Burke family in the comment section if you choose Venmo.
