Jeff was my Fresh/Soph coach at Anamosa and my banker in Martelle. He always had great energy and was truly a great friend. He would always yell get em choppin during conditioning, can still picture him doing this in a long drawn out voice. Always wore his West Dubuque jersey the whole week before playing the bobcats. On Thursday before playing the bobcats the whole team would chase and dog pile him 50-60 players, he was fast back than. Always had a smile and was a great mentor. Hope he knew...

My condolences to all of the family.

He was my football coach back in Anamosa. He was a great guy and someone that was passionate about the sport.
