Jeffrey David “Andy” Anderson, age 68, of Doniphan County, Kansas, died April 13, 2025, at his home.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 19th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Doniphan Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a rosary to precede the service at 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. In honor of his nieces and nephews, memorials are suggested to Children’s Mercy Hospital or Boys Town in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
Jeff was born on December 13, 1956, in Atchison, Kansas, the son of Joseph J. Anderson and Mildred (Thompson) Anderson. He attended Doniphan Elementary, Troy Junior High and Troy High School.
Jeff worked construction in Atchison, reconstructing homes and roofing and loved to spend time working on the farm. He spent countless hours volunteering his time to assist in the reconstruction of the Doniphan Oratory. He enjoyed nature, gardening, hunting and fishing and bird watching. He truly enjoyed spending time with and raising his dogs, Moses and Eli.
He is survived by his siblings, Joe R. Anderson (Jovita), Jerry Anderson (Charlotte), Lisa Smith (Tim); sister-in-law, Itsy Anderson; and his many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Mike Anderson.
