Joanna very sad to hear of your brothers passing. Wow all the laughing, smiles and pranks when you guys would spend time at the Arpano house. Kids being kids but boy we had lots of fun and your brother helped make it that way . To all of Jeffs family my sincere condolences may he rest in peace now as always all the best Sylvia Knoll

I went to the training academy with Jeff many years ago for the sheriff's department. He was quite the character. We had lots of fun and laughs over the time working at the jail. Rest easy my friend. God bless.

Hi Jeff, can't believe your gone. I could write a book. You lifted me up. We fought; we laughed till our stomachs hurt. We always covered each other's backs, You taught me so much as a chef. You always had my six. See you again.

Many wonderful memories, may he rest in peace.

Great friend who will be missed , so sorry for your loss.

Jeffrey's Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Blaine Bilotta, of Port Charlotte, Florida, who left us peacefully on August 18, 2025, at the age of 61.

Jeffrey was born while his family was vacationing in Rhode Island on October 25, 1963. He grew up in Leominster, Massachusetts, later living in Lancaster and Berlin, before retiring to his late mother’s home in Port Charlotte, Florida. Jeffrey graduated from Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, attended Fitchburg State University where he was the goalkeeper for the men's soccer team, and received his Master’s Degree in Criminology from Anna Maria College.

He was the beloved son of the late Mallory “O’Day” Bilotta Mikelk and Joseph F. Bilotta.  Jeffrey is survived by his devoted sister, Joanna Bilotta and her husband Jay Simeone of Lunenburg, MA; his two stepsisters from his father’s second marriage, Susan (Furlong) Holman and her husband Vernon, and Sharon (Furlong) Holman and her husband Mark; his cherished aunts Sheila Arpano and Jane Bilotta, all of whom shared a special place in his life. He is also lovingly remembered by his former stepfather, Paul Mikelk, and his wife Mary.

He leaves behind many close cousins, including Trasey (Arpano) Welton and her husband Danny, Margaret (Arpano) Hogue and her husband Jon, Theresa “Tweety” Arpano, Phillip Arpano and his wife Amy, Matthew Arpano, Samantha Best, Joseph Bilotta and his wife Sheila, and Paul Bilotta and his wife Joanne. Jeffrey also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

A proud public servant, Jeffrey dedicated much of his life to his work as a Worcester County Corrections Officer. Following an injury sustained while on duty, he was awarded full disability retirement, a recognition of his sacrifice and commitment to his profession. He served with courage, integrity, and an unwavering sense of responsibility. Following his retirement, Jeffery developed a passion for culinary arts. He took pride in his new craft, while feeding friends and family. As an example of Jeffery's Joy in sharing himself and his talents with others, he spent numerous holidays away from his family while feeding those in need of a warm meal.

Jeffrey will be remembered most for his outgoing personality, generous spirit, and unforgettable sense of humor. He loved life and had a natural gift for making others laugh, lifting spirits, and putting people at ease. Jeffrey truly enjoyed spending time on the water — boating, fishing, watching NASCAR, or simply enjoying the calm of the shoreline. Jeffrey was an avid Boston sports fan and was a Patriots season ticket holder for many years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Eastwood Cemetery on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. McNally & Watson Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Cure Starts Now Central Mass Chapter,  https://thecurestartsnow.org/who-we-are/chapters/massachusetts-central/, in honor of Kate Arpano, to continue Jeffrey’s giving spirit. Online condolences may be placed at: www.mcnallywatson.com
