Not sure what to say?

Jeff from what I remember. Was a fun guy.he was always laughing and joking around. He was a great friend to my brother. They were always together growing up,many parties at my parents house, listening to bands play.going out an having fun.he was really nice to me..I'm sorry for your lose.

Well... you're in a Good Market now Buddy! And it'll be locked Limit-Up forever for you. Stay long and strong. No more stop loss orders needed... this Market never closes. Enjoy the Run! I'll meet up with you at Brokers Inn for lunch someday --- but not anytime soon, OK?...... Mags

In an era long before social media and cell phones, there were two boys who became best friends. Who were there for each other through thick & thin and throughout the years. No matter how old they were, where they were, or what they were doing.

It was a privilege to watch a friendship like that from the sidelines, especially as I got I older. And while I’m sad I won’t be able to watch anymore, I am grateful to have memories & LOTS of stories.

Aside from countless rock...

I had a nickname for Jeff. I called him Eric Clapton and he always laughed. He always smiled, too. What a pleasure to have known him. Jesus welcomed him home.

I always loved hanging with Jeff. Great stories, music, and a lot of laughs. So sorry for your loss.

There are no words to describe my feelings.... I'm truly at a loss. The world lost its brightest shining light. Rest in Peace my friend. Until we jam again!!

What I will always remember about Jeff is he had alot of “spunk” and had a great fun loving personality!! He will be missed by many! I send my prayers and hugs to Lynn and family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, the friends and family of the man with the biggest smile and an even bigger heart for those he cared so deeply and passionately about.

Rock In Peace Jeff Laczynski...Best Rock Guitarist 1980-82 Riverside/Brookfield High School. Jeff and I use to jam at my place in Brookfield after school. He always had a big smile on his face not just cuz he loved playing but because my drums were always mic'd up so we could play really really REALLY LOUD!!!
Prayers for you and your family my brother, God Bless...

Obituary

Jeffrey's Obituary

Jeffrey Lada Laczynski, 61, passed on May 28, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Jeff was raised in North Riverside, Illinois, and remained a lifelong friend to many fellow Komarek Grade School Wildcats. He was the beloved son of the late Marion (Matus) and Zygmund Laczynski.

A resident of Lemont, Illinois, Jeff’s zest for life, booming laugh, and welcoming spirit made everyone around him feel loved and at home. He had a fulfilling career as a commodities broker.

His ultimate passion was playing music with cherished friends and bandmates. As an incomparable guitarist and showman, he helped create exhilarating, memorable musical experiences for countless audiences, including long time, friends and supporters. Of course, his greatest privilege and joy was being a father to sons Matthew and Jason. They took true center stage in his life. He never tired of cheering them on in all aspects of life including academics, sports, career pursuits and their own music making. Jeff will surely be remembered for his kindness, generosity and loyalty, as well as being a devoted Cowboys fan.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lori (Prokes), and their two sons, Matthew and Jason.

He is also survived by his siblings: Mike (Phyllis) Kelly, Lynn (Scott) Hendry, and Dan Laczynski, as well as his nieces and nephews: Alex, Samantha (Avie), Paige, Johnathan, and Ben.

As Jeff would say — “Ah-yay!” — Rock and roll all night, and party every day.
