I am so heartbroken at seeing this news. Jerry was so fun loving. He worked with me at Main Street Hardware and we became friends. Many years later we re-connected through Facebook . I loved reading his post.
I am so sorry but blessed to have known such a fun loving , thoughtful man.

Jerry Boyd Owen, Jr., 57 of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022, at his residence.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A memorial service will follow in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tommy Gillon officiating and Bro. Breck Ladd assisting.
Jerry was born May 3, 1964, to the late Jerry Boyd and Catherine Ruth Kale Owen in Columbus, MS. He worked in Maintenance at Akzo Nobel for several years. Jerry had an amazing sense of humor, loved his cats – Daisy, Panda Bear, Ozzy, and Dora and grand-dog – Levi the Golden. He was an avid lover of music and golfing. Jerry showed love and concern for everyone and loved helping others.
Jerry is survived by his wife – Cecelia Tucker Owen, sons – David Allan Christ, Joel Patterson and Travis (Wendy) Scott Patterson; daughter – Laura Diane Kelly; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters – Elaine (Ray) Taylor and Sarah (Chuck) Pittman; and mother-in-law – Hazel Hill.
