Jerry Allen Cubert, 77, husband of Barbara Cox Cubert, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Born in Anderson County, KY on August 13, 1946, Jerry was the son of Gilbert and Corine Camic Cubert.
Jerry worked for IBM/Lexmark and, more recently, the Kentucky State Government before retiring. He was a member of the Anderson County Masonic Lodge #90 and the Anderson County Sportsman's Club. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg, KY.
Including Barbara, his wife of 56 years, he is survived by his son, Jason Allen Cubert of Lexington and his daughter, Melissa Cubert Hanks and her husband Chris of Lawrenceburg; three grandsons, Tyler Hembree (Magen), Neal Wells (Taylor), and Jon Jackson Hanks; four great grandchildren, Oaklen Hembree, Ada June Hembree, Braylen Wells, and Hayden Wells; and a sister, Judy Parrish (Rick).
Funeral service will be 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Garrett Franklin and Bro. Claude Waldridge officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and after 10 A.M. Wednesday till the time of service. Masonic Rites will be observed at 7:45 P.M. Tuesday evening.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Hembree, Neal Wells, Jon Jackson Hanks, John G. Hanks, Tony Cleveland, Lynn Wells, and Chris Hanks. Honorary bearers will be Logan Woodside, Allen Hellard, John Davis, Rick Parrish, Chris Sutherland, Johnny Hanks, Jimmy Hanks, and Stanley Briscoe.
