Jerry's Obituary

Jerry Dale Gentry, Sr., 72, of Des Arc died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Unity Health White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas. Jerry was born June 3, 1945 in Des Arc to William David and Lillie (Lock) Gentry. Survivors include his wife, Mary (Parker) Gentry, one daughter, Kay Treadwell and husband, Kevin, two sons, Bill Gentry and wife Jill, Dale Gentry and wife Stephanie, five grandchildren, Eric Treadwell, Jonathan Gentry, Evin Treadwell and wife Natalie, Erin Treadwell, Sydnie Gentry, two brothers, Tommy Gentry, Phillip Gentry. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Seth Gentry, five brothers and five sisters. Visitation is Tuesday 6:00-8:00 at Garth Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are Wednesday at First Assembly of God Church in Des Arc with burial in Lakeside Cemetery by Garth Funeral Home. Bro. Fred Dover, Bro. J. R. Armstrong, and Bro. Alton Evans officiating. Pallbearers are Tyler Cox, Cordero Earl, Troy Geisler, Glenn Lightsey, Josh Dixon, and Brad Grady.
