Jesse's Obituary

Jesse Fernando Rouse, 67, of San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully at home on February 12, 2026, with his loving wife of 35 years, Suzanna Rouse, by his side. He was born on March 2, 1958, Jesse carried a joyful spirit throughout his life, often singing his favorite song by Charlie Rich:” Jesus loves me, yes I know, so I’ll keep on rolling with the flow.” A proud graduate of Edison High School and lifelong San Antonio native, Jesse lived his life with faith, wisdom, and a love for family and music. He loved classic country and classic rock music, never missed a chance to sing or dance. He was a devoted sports fan who faithfully cheered for the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, he loved his family deeply and lived a life guided by faith and wisdom. His family finds comfort in the promise of eternal life found in the Bible, John 3:16; “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Jesse was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Jesse is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Lee Rouse and mother, Trinidad Flores Stacy. He is survived by his wife, Suzanna Rouse; his son, Joseph Rouse and wife Ana Rouse; his daughter, Lisa R. Curtis; siblings, Raymond Munoz, Gus Munoz, and Gloria Castillo; his cherished grandchildren; Noah, Isaiah, and Jacob Rouse; Joe M. and his wife Giuliana Villanueva, Jessie R.
