Not sure what to say?

Please remember that Jesse is in the care of our loving Father but his memories can last forever.

My sincere condolences to Jesse’s wife, Barb, and his family. My husband (Jim) and Jesse enjoyed a friendship and many rides together. I know they are riding together now. Happy Trails ! Gloria Rogers

Barbara, Ali, Jimmy and Dawn, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Jesse taught me how to drive a manual stick-shift and today I’m a very good driver! R.I.P. Jesse.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Jesse's Obituary

Jesse Berry Willis, Jr., our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the age of 82. He was born in Asbury, NJ on December 29, 1942 to Jesse B. Willis, Sr., and Lucy (Stecker) Willis.

Jesse graduated from Morris Hills High School in Rockaway, NJ, class of 1961 and the Automation Institute in Chicago, graduating with a diploma as a Wiring Operator. Jesse worked for Bell Labs on the space program. In 1983 he had enough of the rat race and moved to Montana and became a hunting and fishing guide.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother Jerry. He is survived by Barbara, his wife of 50 years, son Jim Willis, daughter Dawn Willis (Tim Wiltfong), and daughter Allison (Richard) Wawrin, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren (so far!), sister Sheridan Willis and nephew Sean Willis. Our grief at his passing is tempered by the knowledge of his happiness in Montana and the assurance that he is resting in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ.

Many thanks to Rin, Wendy, Ashley, Chris, Robin, Charity, Marlow and our church family for their help, love and gentle care of Jesse.

Local services will be held at First Christian Church, Whitehall, MT on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 am.  Memorials are suggested to Whitehall Christian Church or Trek Homecare LLC.
