Jessica Brooke Kennedy-Daniel, age 30, of Colt, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Jessica was a woman of strong Christian faith whose life was rooted in love, family, and simple joys. She found peace in the outdoors, especially while fishing, and treasured every moment spent with her best friend—her mother, whom she lovingly called “Momma.” Above all else, Jessica’s greatest joy was her daughter, Reis Ann Kennedy. She delighted in spoiling Reis every chance she had and poured her heart into being her mother.
Jessica is survived by her beloved daughter, Reis Ann Kennedy; her mother, Sherrie Kennedy; her father, Eric Kennedy; her brother, Tyler Kennedy, and sister-in-law, Bethany Kennedy; and her cherished nephew, Weston. She is also survived by Shirley “Nana” Dollar; her uncle Gary Dollar; Johnny Dollar and aunt Lori Dollar; cousins Paige (Caleb) Holiday, Kyndal Dollar, Mark (Jennifer) Hood and daughter, and Ethan Dollar; uncle Craig Kennedy and aunt Charlotte Kennedy; cousins Bryson (Tracy) Morris and children; Andy (Keri) Askew and children; Jordan Morris, aunt Bridgette (Troy) Bartell and children, uncles, Buddy (Chin-lan) Chen and children, and Ben Nguyen, and aunt Marla (Jon) Newman and a host of loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by loved ones Bobby “Papaw” Dollar; Sidney “Paco” Kennedy; Minola Kennedy; Ruth Caplena.
Jessica will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her deep love for her family, and the light she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at Pinetree Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., followed by a 2:00 p.m. Service and graveside to follow.
The family would like to extend their love and heartfelt gratitude to the Gentiva Hospice team, who went above and beyond for our family and will always hold a special place in our hearts. A special thank you to Christy Cole, Alexis Ellis, Kelly Ellis, Sharon Hicks, Ashton Simmons, Paige Holiday, and Bethany Kennedy for the care and compassion shown to Jessica.Thank you as well to the AllCare HomeCare team for their support and kindness.
Jessica’s memory will live on through the love she gave so freely and the faith she carried in her heart.
