How sad to hear he has died. A very long time ago we were very close pals on the south side of Chicago. Jim and I were best friends, our mothers were very close, and Jims brother Bob was close to my brother Jack. Our family moved to Dolton in 1955 and the Pershas went to neighboring Riverdale. We had a lot of fun in our younger days, we lost touch with each other over the years. We got in touch with each other and with 4 other friends and started going out to lunch once a month. We all enjoyed it very much.
