Post, Jim Age 73, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away peacefully at his home, Tuesday, November 12, 2013, while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Gavilan, NM and was a resident of Lindrith, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Myrtle Post. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Betty Post; his son, Doyle Post; his grandchildren, Luke and Taylor Post. Also surviving are his brother, Hap and wife Jana of Big Spring, TX; four sisters, Alice Johnson and husband Tom of Bloomfield, NM, Jessie Bechdol and husband Jack of Rio Rancho, NM, Kate Page and husband Jim of Lindrith, NM, Dot Casaus of Meadowlake, NM; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Jim will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose hearts he touched. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lindrith, NM, with Pastor Chuck Self, Officiating. Interment will follow at the Ojito Cemetery in Ojito, NM. Casket Bearers will be Doyle Post, Luke Post, Taylor Post, Steve Stevenson, L.D. "Pee Wee" Stevenson, Tony Lee Schmitz, Hap Post and Michelle Herrera. Honorary Bearers will be Gerry Nelson, Windy Stevenson, Jerry Whitney, Frank Welch, Rudy Velasquez, Don Howard and Alan Hatch.
