Jimmy R. Goff

Jimmy R. Goff, age 75 of Somerset, KY passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Jean Waddle Care Center.  Jimmy was born on August 26, 1950 at Somerset, KY, the son of Wesley Goff and Iva Dean Dykes.  Jimmy worked as a machinist at Tecumseh Products. He was of Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, but most of all, spending time with family.

Survivors include his daughter, Tina LouAnn Goff; and his son, Greg Goff; other children,  Brooklyn Price, Sophia Price and Conner Price;   grandchildren, Makayle Ann Aslimgr, Courtney Ray Goff, Kallie Paige Jackson, Taylor Ray Goff, Tori Annagay Goff, Countney Nicole Goff, Tristian Breanna Muse and Mitchell Clark; several great grandchildren; his brother, Johnny Goff (Pam); three sisters, Lona Tomlison (Chelbie), Jeanne Phelps (Wendell), and Lovena Oakes; extended family members, neighbors and friends who are saddened by his passing.

In addition to his parents, Wesley and Iva Dean Goff; Jimmy was preceded in death by two sons, Jim Wesley Goff and Ray Junior Goff; one daughter, Kimberly Ann Browning; two brothers, Clyde Blaine Goff and Paul Leslie Goff; and his sister, Regina Pearl Hyden.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy 80, Somerset, KY  42503.  The funeral service will follow on Wednesday, January 14th at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother Gary Clark officiating.  Burial will be at Somerset Cemetery, 511 West Columbia St, Somerset, KY.
