Jimmy's Obituary

Jimmy Lee Vines age 68, of Grifton, N.C. and  formerly of Fountain passed on Friday December 19, 2025. He was born on November 17, 1956 in  Edgecombe County, North Carolina to the late Clara Reid and John Thomas Vines. Seventeen siblings preceded him in death.

 He graduated from Farmville Central High School in 1975. He was a factory worker at  A.C. Monk & Company in Farmville, N.C. He attended St. James FWB Church in Fountain, N.C. and Patrick Chapel FWB Church in Snow Hill.

He is survived by one daughter; Emily Tripp. Two sons; TavoriousTripp and William Tripp all of the home. Two sisters; Mrs. Marjorie Parker of the home and Mrs. Elaine Staton of Baltimore Maryland. His Caretaker; special niece, Pastor Sarah Tyson of the home. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
