Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

It saddens us to hear that Jimmy has passed. I worked with him for a couple of decades, and he was always someone with a ton of energy, and if we needed someone to get the job done, we always went to him.
We bowled on the same league as Jimmy and Joy, and he always made things fun and left us smiling. Our thoughts go out to Joy and the entire family. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the Webb Family. It’s clear how much he meant to those around him. Thinking of you and your family during this time. Wishing you comfort and peace in the days to come.

We will always cherish the memories of our times shared with Jim and Joy! The absolute best tour guides of Utah’s glorious mountains and rivers. We always had a blast! And the fabulous food and biscuits at Ruth’s diner always had to be a part of every excursion., of course. Always in our hearts, Greg and Patty

My deepest thoughts to the entire family on the loss of Jim. I understand loss and I am with you. You should only have strength and should not feel any further pain.

Jimmy's Obituary

Jimmy Dean Webb, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away March 14, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born Sept 19, 1957, he was raised in Salt Lake City by Davis N. & Muriel G. Webb.

Jimmy spent 4 years in the US Air Force, stationed at Hill Air Force Base from October 1975 - October 1979. After returning from boot camp, he met the love of his life, Joy. They married on June 2nd, 1976, in Salt Lake City.

Jimmy started working for the United States Post Office in October 1984, retiring in October 2015 to spend more time with his family. Jimmy thoroughly loved being a grandpa and “Papa”. He enjoyed every minute he spent with his grandchildren.

He loved spending time in nature, whether it be camping, fishing, riding 4-wheelers and bikes. If the weather was nice, you’d most likely find Jim riding with his good friend Greg.

Jimmy had an amazing talent for always making those around him laugh, even in his final days. If you asked someone to describe Jimmy, it would always be “he’s so funny” or “he’s such a great guy”, and we couldn’t agree more.

Survived by his wife Joy, daughters Brianna (Brad) and Alyssa (LC), son Jimmy, grandchildren Alec, Jade, Adelyn and Landon, brothers Guy (Sue), Garth (Lynn), and David.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his mom Muriel, dad Davis, siblings Alvin, Norman, Marilyn, Connie, Sheila and granddaughter Raegan and dog, Tucker.

The family would like to thank the amazing nurses and doctors at the Intermountain Medical Center Thoracic ICU for the care they provided to Jimmy while he was there.
