Not sure what to say?

Lord bless you Jimmy a good guy never a dull moment at work .

You were my best friend. I will forever regret missing your phone call that day . We could talk for days and not run out of things to say. And , we’d be too sore to move from laughing so hard! You loved so fierce and mighty but w a tender heart. The best parents a person could ask for! You had a family that really loved you. You know I loved you and I know you cared for me like real friends do . My regret is missing that call. We understood each other. I’ll carry you w me...

I’ve been friends with jimmy for many years. We didn’t see each other a lot but when we did made up for the times we weren’t together. I will dearly miss him. Sending much love and many prayers to his family.

Jimmy, always had a smile for me, whenever I ran into him. I was just so sad to hear this. Thoughts, prayers and Hugs sent to all of you.
Love, Danny &Roxie

My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

He was a great , very special guy. I’ll miss him. Godspeed, old friend!

So sorry

My prayers are with you Jeanie and family!!

My friend Jason and family. Even though I did not know Jimmie as well as I do you, I knew enough that I loved him as I do you brother. God Bless!

Jimmy's Obituary

Jimmy Dallas Young Jr., born January 30, 1964, passed away in his home on December 20, 2024, at the age of 60. Jimmy lived life embracing his passions for animals, gardening, and spending time along the river searching for arrowheads—a hobby that brought him joy and connection to the natural world.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Dallas Young Sr.; his mother, Judy Elaine Pugh Young; and his sister, June Leigh Young. He is survived by his siblings: brother Jason Young and wife Katie of Little Rock, AR; sister Jeanne Young and husband Rickey of Duncan, MS; and his sister Mo Snyder of Lexa, AR. He is also remembered with love by his dear friend, Sippi.

Jimmy was a cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews: Hannah Young of Jasper, AR; Mallory Turner and husband Jason of Lexa, AR; Stephen Young and wife Maddie of Bryant, AR; Jackson Young of Starkville, MS; and Great nieces Kaylynn Ford, Kimberly Young, and Callie Young.

Jimmy was baptized at Barton Baptist Church as a young teenager, laying the foundation for a faith that helped carry him through life. He graduated from Marvell Academy before attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. In his later years, Jimmy returned to his roots on Highway 316, dedicating himself to various roles, but his most significant and heartfelt work was caring for his father.

Jimmy will be remembered for his love of nature, and his very different way of showing his love to those closest to him. His family and friends will carry forward his memory with love and affection for the time they were blessed to share with him.

A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter.
