Not sure what to say?

She was one of my favorite people in the world. She was such a wonderful grandma to me, and I always had so much fun with her. Whenever I had breaks from school, I would stay at her beautiful house in Wichita Falls. My sister and I had our very own room there, and she had decorated it all pink and cute just for us. You could tell she put a lot of thought into every detail. I have so many amazing memories with her that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
She made even the little...

This makes me so sad. I would always love seeing her every time I went to the Women’s clinic, years ago. There was no denying that nursing was her calling and she reflected that with every patient. She was always so kind and genuine. Sending prayers to her family.

Brad,

So sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Cherish the memories as she is looking down on you and your family. Thoughts and prayers with you and your family.

I would like to give condolences to Jo Lynn and her family. Jo Lynn was a wonderful person she always had something funny are good to say. She will be forever missed.

Gary, Brad and family
Thinking of you these past few days and remembering what a beautiful soul JoLynn was. (She was the niece of my late husband, Arnold, and I.) We always loved it when she would include us on her visits to Ohio and Kentucky. She showed us photos and talked about all her "kids and grands"
Even though the stroke(s) were difficult for her, it was so sad to hear that she was gone. I know she left many wonderful memories for all of you.
Bess Marshall

Your generosity of time and love will be remembered

We just found out about Jo Lynn's passing last night at Danny Daugherty's visitation. Harold and I would like to send our condolences and praying for peace and comfort ❤

My Deepest and Most Sincere Sympathy @ this difficult time is extended to Gary and all family. Nursing school was where we really became close friends even though we both had ties to Electra, Texas she was dear friend' and LOVED her family very much. Rest in Peace. Thoughts and prayers are with Gary and Family.

I am so sorry to see Jo Lynn has passed. I first met Jo Lynn in the early 1970's when "we" all worked in the ER at the Wichita General Hospital. The "we" were Geral Dean Beavers and myself, Billy Don Smith. I remember going with Jo Lynn to her grandparents house in Electra. Life was easy back in those days. We did not make a lot of money but we felt "free and rich". I took many rides with Jo Lynn in her orange Volkswagen. Through the years we would run into each other at the grocery orange...

Jo Lynn was born February 25, 1952 to the late Bill Marshall and Mary Lou Tigert.  She was a lifelong resident of the Wichita Falls area, graduating from Electra High School in 1970 and later completing nursing school at Bethania School of Nursing.  After nursing school, she went to work in the ER at Wichita Falls General Hospital and then was later employed at Wilson Family Planning for over 30 years until her retirement.

Jo Lynn married Gary Broyles on May 7th, 1988 at Lucy Park in Wichita Falls.  They were happily married for over 37 years until her passing.

There is no doubt that Jo Lynn’s passion was for her family.   She cheered on her children and grandchildren (and their friends) at thousands of football, baseball, and basketball games.  Jo Lynn attended dance recitals, birthday parties, grandparent days, jiu jitsu practices, swim lessons, graduations, weddings, fishing trips, vacations, etc.  If someone she loved was participating, she was going to be there.  She even once kept a forward deployed US Army battalion supplied with homemade cookies for an entire winter while her son was serving overseas.   She loved going to and was a regular at family reunions with extended family in Ohio.  Jo Lynn made family holiday events so fun and special for her grandchildren.  She also dearly loved her dogs Sadie, Pete, Puddles, and Charlie.

Along with her parents, Jo Lynn was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents Houston and Bessie Tigert, a brother Barry Marshall, a son Scott Broyles and cousin Judy Rinehart.

Jo Lynn is survived by her husband Gary, “second mom” Elva Pridemore Marshall; brother Randy Marshall; daughter, Buffie Gravaas and husband Lars; son, Brad Kundracik and wife Amanda; Grandchildren, Bailey Broyles and fiancée Ashley Anderson, Christoffer Gravaas, Pernille Gravaas, Addison Kundracik, Brooke Kundracik, and Case Kundracik.

Jo Lynn was always known for her great sense of humor, infectious laugh, caring heart and her courage to speak up.  Her friends and family are thankful to have known such a woman.  By all that knew her, she will be forever missed.
