Not sure what to say?

It's been 3 weeks today that you left this world. I have my good days, but mostly bad ones. I spent my day in your house yesterday, cause I felt closer to you there. I talk to you daily. I think I'm just trying to hard to dream or get a sign from you. it gives me peace knowing you are in a better place now, and pain free. you had suffered way to long. give daddy a kiss from me. I miss you both so much. you will always be in my heart. till we meet again. <3

May you rest in peace in your husband's arms.

I will light a candle each day. No one could of asked for a better mother and roll model then I have.

Joan's Obituary

Joan R. Cantamessa, age 83, of Whiting NJ passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Thursday, October 6, 2016. She was born in Carobondale PA to the late Maurice and Josephine Roche. Joan and her family moved to New Jersey, which is where she met the love of her life, Louis Cantamessa. She was always very dedicated to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joan was the rock of the family, always taking care of them and making time for those who needed it. She was warm and loving, had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful mother and role model. Joan enjoyed playing bingo and loved to redecorate her home. She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Joan is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Louis V. Cantamessa; her grandson, Michael Cantamessa; and her siblings Jack Roche and Mary Kurland. She leaves behind her five children, Steve Cantamessa of Jacksonville OR, Louis Cantamessa Jr. of North Hanover NJ, John Cantamessa of Seaside Heights NJ, Barbara Cantamessa of Whiting and Joni-Lee Principal of Toms River NJ. Joan also leaves behind her nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Services for Joan are being held privately.
