Ms. Joan E. Carter, 72, of Queens, New York, passed on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at Twilight Missionary Baptist Church, 1381 Aurelian Springs Road, Halifax, North Carolina. Burial will be in the Oakridge Cemetery, 11th Street, Weldon, North Carolina.
