Such a sweet lady and a joy to visit with when I visited my mom (Joan VanderBrink). My mom and she did many daily walks together in or outside Sheldon Meadows. Your mom and I actually phoned each other after my mom passed away to see how things were going. She will greatly be missed.

I worked with Joan for many years. I loved her dearly. She was so committed to Bibles for missions and what we stood for. Even the last 2 to 3 years that she did work she gave it all she had. She stopped working when Covid hit our country. She wanted to come back but that was not in the Lord’s plan. I am so sorry that I missed the visitation and funeral. I was gone for six weeks and so I was not able to be present. So I just wanted to send this little note to let you know how special she was...
