Alzheimer's is a brutal disease which robs us too early from our loved ones. She is now whole again and celebrating at the banquet of God with mny friends and family. My prayers are with all of the family.

Joanie was such a warm woman and loved her Catholic faith. Very involved with the womans club while still at St. Frances Cabrini. She always had a smile on her face. Her kolaches, man, so good.
She and George when we had finished checking into our rooms in NYC from being in Italy for a few weeks after 9/11, met up and walked across the street and all ordered a good American hamburger and drank some Sameul Adams beer. I invited her and George to my Ordination to the Diaconate.
