Not sure what to say?

Throughout my life, I have been truly blessed to be surrounded by extraordinary role models.

Joan Faye was one of the phenomenal women of the “Pear Orchard” who helped shape me into the woman I am today, alongside Lee Frank, Ruby Watkins, Peggy Ligon, and my cherished grandmother, Maxine Jean.

These women of Opal Street became my village during the many summers I spent with my grandparents in Beaumont.

Joan Faye and I were first connected by the shared roots...

May God bless and strengthen the family and keep them in his precious arms. My algebra teacher at C.P.H.S. C/O 68. I'm praying for Royce and Rosalind and all the family members.

Rest in heaven to Sister Joan Faye Stewart such a classy lady. My first acquaintance with her was as my Sunday school teacher at St. James United Methodist Church when we moved here in 1978. Prayers and condolences to those who loved her.

Rodney and I extend our deepest condolences to your family. We shall remember Joan as a kind and caring human being. May God comfort you in this season of grief.

My deepest sympathy to my family in the loss of my dear cousin. May God comfort and provide the strength needed to deal with this loss.

She was a classy lady who was very much admired.

Our hearts are truly with you all.

In my early years as an educator, one of the nicest most professional, kind , helpful persons I met decades ago was Mrs Stewart. She was a counselor and was quiet, yet very effective working with both faculty and students. That beautiful smile reflected in her photo was the same smile she exuded on campus.I believe she is resting now per the Master and condolences to her family and friends.Thank you for your service, Mrs Stewart, to the BISD community.Amen
