I've never met and did not know Joane. But, I know her son, my wonderful neighbor Jim. Joane raised him "right!" I suspect her energy, her modeling, her light and spirit as a great mom shines though Jim's character. Like mother, like son! I wish I had known her. So very sorry to the family for her loss.

My sister in law for the last 60 years will be greatly missed. Yes she always had a smile on her face. I don’t believe I ever saw her without it. She was so talented and a few of her paintings are on the walls of my home. I cherish them as if they were Rembrandts. They have memories beyond their value in them..
