Just found out about this. We were related on my father's side. She, her husband Ray and especially daughter Karen were close relatives, but somehow lost contact over the years. Remembering some fun times at 23 Reid Street in Sayreville, NJ from my childhood. RIP, Aunt Joan.

Joanna Kowalczyk Samolyk, on Friday, May, 17, 2024 at RWJ University Hospital, age 91 years. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Kowalczyk and Bertha Mierzejewski. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond Samolyk, and her sister, Lucianna DiNetta. She is survived by her loving daughter, Karen Samolyk Akins and son-in-law, Max Akins, a grandson Austin Samolyk Akins, and a nephew, Joseph Dinetta. Interment will be private with a Memorial Service at a later date.
