Not sure what to say?

Pete, Eric and family,
Sorry for your loss our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Bob and Deb Heizman

I was the Principal of Center School during some of Joanne's years there. She was a kind and supportive teacher. She always seemed to be smiling. Knowing that she had six children, I was always amazed that she could be so calm and focused every day. She will be greatly missed by so many. Your family will be in my thoughts.

Mrs Burdick was such a lovely person. We lived down the street from the Burdick clan for many years. My mom Theresa babysit for all six kids many times. She always said she didn´t know how Joanne was able to work, be involved with all the kids activities, take care of a home all while raising 6 children. She was a strong woman. My prayers to her children and their families

My heartfelt condolences, thoughts, and love to the entir Burdick family on the loss of your Mom and grandmother, Joanne. She was a faithful and loving friend, whom I worked closely with in her classroom each day for a few years at the junior high, and also at Cobo Lodge on the same floor, where I was a nurse. I am heartbroken, she was al wonderfu Fred whom I will always miss.

To all the Burdick family,

Deepest sympathy for the loss of a wonderful and special person. Sorry we did not stay in touch as much as we should have.

Joanne was a colleague at Memorial School and the mother of two of my former students. She always had a positive outlook and a wonderful sense of humor. My sincere condolences to her family. Rest In Peace, Joanne!

So sorry to hear of Joanne’s passing. I was a classmate of hers at St. Bernard’s. Sadly not too many of our class of 76 are left. I will always remember her winning smile and kind heart.

Rest in Peace

I first met Joanne at Will and Chenoa’s wedding. I found her to be warm and friendly, yet still energetic and sane after raising her crazy crew. Oh, the stories she shared about the boys. Joanne put her whole heart and soul into her family, and it is now time for her to rest from this earthly toil. Not that she will completely rest because she will continue to watch over them all.
