Not sure what to say?

Dear Tommy, Mary Lynn, Jim and your families,
I feel so sad to learn of your mom’s passing. She was a dear friend who was fun to be with (we laughed a lot). I will miss our telephone talks and our get-togethers on Riverview rd. I remember her as being devoted to your family, our community, and her church. I have a special memory of her being fearless. I recall driving with her over an icy road and hoping she would slow down. She said something like “everything will be fine, I’ve driven...

Aunt Joanne was such a very special and loving person. She will be very much missed by her immediate and extended family.

To all of my old Schunder friends from Riverview Road!

I am so sad to hear this news! I will remember your Mom fondly as a fantastic neighbor with a timeless beauty (i swear she looked exactly the same when i would see her more recently at our chance encounters at Costco, with Jim at her side providing hearing support, as she looked when we were kids hanging outside on the block!).

I have great memories of your Mom and my Mom sitting at our kitchen table smoking...

Mrs. Schunder, Rest In Peace with our dear Lord & all your family. Riverview rd. was a magical time when your family moved in. Mary Lynn, Patty & I had great times. You always had me at your kitchen table, providing a cold glass of fresh milk from nor view farms from the pitcher, while I dipped Oreo cookies. My family did not buy them. What a treat. You raised an amazing family & you are blessed in the presence of our Lord & Savior Jesus. You will be missed.

Rest In Peace, Mrs. Schunder. Thanks for providing a sense of stability in our generally disfunctional 70s neighborhood. So many great memories. One that stands out is ice cold bottles of Pepsi (or Coke?) and potato chips from those giant Charles Chips potato chip cans. I might be misremembering but I think people were actually having potato chips delivered to them back then? I remember the Charles Chips truck. Also, thanks for not letting Jim become a professional drummer.

Dear Schunder Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I have many memories growing up with all of you on Riverview Road. One memory that really stands out is the annual Christmas dinner. Every year, for several years, your mom would host the neighborhood on Christmas night. I would look forward to it all day and had so much fun hanging out downstairs with all the kids! I cannot think about Christmastime as a child without this wonderful memory! Another memory that stands out is...
