Joaquin was a true hero to all who knew him. He always had a bright smile and his presence lit up every place he was. He always excelled at everything he did. He was always willing to assist his class mates and GWHS staff. I loved his sense of humor. He was my true super hero.

Joaquin Lopez, 18, passed away August 11, 2025. He leaves a deep pain in the family; mother, Nohemi Lopez; father, Adrian Prieto; siblings, Josselin Prieto and Ashley Prieto; grandparents, Atilano Lopez and Cecilia Francisco; uncles, Moises Prieto, Eliseo Lopez, Rafael Lopez; aunts, Isabel Lopez, Rubi Lopez. Services are 1pm Saturday August 16, 2025 at Conkle Funeral Home 4925 W. 16th St., Speedway IN with Visitation 11am-1pm before the Service.
