Not sure what to say?

Gay and Family...I just found out about Joe's passing this year. We didn't see each other that often, but when we did Joe was always very helpful and very friendly. We moved away, and Joe sent me Bluebonnet seeds! That was special for Missouri City, TX. We'e all glad to have been his friend. I hope you and yours are doing well.

Gay and Family, I just saw the information about Joe's death. I remember his laughter and our joking during our time when we were doing the slides and sound for FUMC in the mid-2010's. He was such a warm and giving person, and would side remarks would keep me in stitches. Thank you for the memories, Joe. Barbie Hughes

Gay and family,
I first met Joe while working for a local doctor where he was a patient many years ago. We quickly bonded while talking politics after getting the medical part done. He and I were always on the same political side. When I came to vote at our pole in the evening he was always there waiting for his sweet wife to close the doors. One time, meeting me outside, he gave me a list of amendments and had them marked which to vote for or against. He was a true one of a kind man...

Dear Gay and family,
What wonderful memories I have of Joe. He was a dear man and he will be greatly missed.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow, we are going to miss Joe. He always supported my boys in the Livestock Shows. I had the privilege of getting to know Joe and Gay and John when I taught Briley in Kindergarten. As a Master Gardener I appreciated him sharing info when he came to our classes to teach us about products he sold that would be bene in our learning about plants. Palestine has lost a man with a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Traded at Iron Gate many years ago. Mr. Joe was always very nice. He will be missed.

Our lives have been blessed with knowing Joe as our friend, neighbor, day brightener and wise purveyor of knowledge. Palestine won't be the same without him.

When we think of Joe what comes to mind is: loyal, faithful, intelligent, caring, all with common sense and humor, too! We’ve always loved Joe and enjoyed being in his presence. Timothy & Elaine Triplett

John. So sorry to hear of your loss. Always liked Mr Joe! Sending prayers of comfort for you, your Mother and family!!
