Joe's Obituary
Joe Lewis Chisley peacefully transitioned from this life on Saturday, June 21, 2025. He was born in Liddieville, LA, to the late Joe Nathan and Cleolia Chisley. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Dianne Chisley; two sons, Gary and Owen Chisley; one daughter, Sonia Renee Chisley; five grandchildren, Donbisha Horne, Zion Young, Aaron Chisley, Ladarius Christoff, and Corey Baptiste, two great-grandchildren, Harmoney Carter and Jessie Horne, six sisters, five brothers, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A wake service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at St. James Church of God in Christ, 3420 Andover St., Jefferson, LA 70121. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Interment: Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Church in Liddieville, LA.
