Joe S. Rose

Uncle Joe was such a kind uncle and a loving brother to my mother. He was modest and humble, and seemed always much more interested in hearing about us, or telling us what Dave and Darlene were up to, rather than talking about himself. I loved seeing him come to the Beach to visit us; he never missed an opportunity for a swim--even a short one! I feel grateful to have known a man who was such a model of kindness and love, and grateful he was my uncle!

Joe was dear to all of us, and he will be sorely missed. My condolences to Ruth and the entire Rose family. May God's comfort and peace be with you at this difficult time.

Dear Mrs. Ruth,
Mr. Joe and you are both long time friends of the Ralph and Mildred Lee family. We were all saddened to hear of his passing. Mom would have a question about her taxes and say, “ Call Joe!” Our meals together are what I remember! Our prayers and love are sent your way.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Joe. He really enjoyed the fellowship of the Down East Seniors and we enjoyed having him. Ruth, you were faithful in bringing him to the meetings and returning for him.

We are so sorry to here about Jo's passing. He was a kind hearted soul and loved by all that new him. Take care and let us know if there is anything we can do or when you are ready for a quick visit. Love you much! Nikki & Bobby

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Rose. He was such a gentle, kind soul. The Heavens have gained another true angel. May God wrap the family in comfort during these difficult days ahead.
