I think of John often and still miss him.

Fair winds and following seas, shipmate. I served with John at the Reserve Center in Wilmington for several years. A few years later, we bumped into one another while both were supporting a Marine Corps exercise in Norway. Today I was remembering that time, and searched for him, to find he had gone home to be with the Lord.

We still miss you and speak of you often. What a blessing to have known you

We think of John often he was truly a good man. And gone far to soon. I'm sure that deep voice and that smile are a blessing to everyone in Heaven. Yvonne still holding you in our heart and prayers.

I knew John Robert when we were children and our grandmother 's lived in the same house ..106 castle street. My grandmother was Nora Parrish
I have fond memories of him. Please accept my sincere condolences in this difficult time.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

John was a man of great quality and integrity, loyal and faithful in his personal life as well as his professional chosen endeavors and careers, he will be truly missed. From one FMF "Doc"and former Cape Fear Detachment Commandant to another rest peacefully Senior Chief and know that your time here was well spent and that you helped others along the way to accomplish their missions.
