Unexpectedly went home with his Lord Thursday, April 27, 2023, at St. Mary’s Medical Center; age 64 years. John was born on September 20, 1958 in Saginaw, MI to Frederick Beythan Sr. and Carol Beythan; they survive him. He was married to Sue Meyerhuber on August 28, 1982 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Frankentrost; she survives him. John graduated from Michigan State University. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he enjoyed helping with the Living Nativity. John was also a member of the X-Celerators Car Club. John served on the Blumfield Township Fire Department.
Surviving besides his wife Sue and his parents Fred and Carol are children Jessica (Andrew) Bouvy of Frankenmuth, MI, Jonathan (Alicia) Beythan of Frankentrost, MI; grandchildren Charlotte, Evelyn and Henry Bouvy, Ella, Emelia and Edith Beythan; brothers Frederick Beythan Jr, and Don (Cheryl) Beythan; sister-in-law Michelle Beythan; godchildren Jillian Luby, and Sarah Enser; and many nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Howard and Edna Meyerhuber.
Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8220 Holland Rd., Frankentrost, MI. Rev. Mark Loest will officiate with burial in St. John’s Cemetery, Frankentrost. John’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Immanuel Lutheran School.
