I have only met two officers that worked as hard the LAST day at work as the first day. John was one of those officers, who showed common sense and a love of law eforcement. Rest in peace, hero!

John was always around when you needed him. He had great stories and I knew he always had my back if anything was to happen!! Such a great man. Sending my love, thoughts, and prayers to his family Rest easy my friend

John Cabala was one of my training officers in 1974-75. He was an outstanding policeman and was able to maintain a great sense of humor. He was fun to work with and was an asset to the department and the city. A good man gone.
