John Cantu, Sr.

John Cantu Sr., age 84, passed away on June 28, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on July 1, 1932 to Nick and Teresa Cantu in Pontiac, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Cantu; parents; sisters, Francis Vasquez and Margret Gross; brothers, Nick Cantu Jr. and Jacinto Cantu. John is survived by his wife, Gloria Cantu; children, John Cantu Jr., Felicia Cantu and Mark Cantu.    

John was a Korean War Veteran and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. They are so proud of his accomplishments that he made and the sacrifices he has done for his family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 7:00 a.m. in Castle Ridge Mortuary with a procession to depart at 8:30 a.m. for an interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:15 a.m.
