Not sure what to say?

Dan Fairfax - KUDOS JACK !

My sincere BEST WISHES and Sympathy to Jack's Family for Jack's passing. Jack was a Mentor to us Test Folks in Power System Operations and a Mighty Fine Friend. ALWAYS with a warm Smile, you could feel welcomed to ask him anything about Relaying and know he would get back with you with a "SOUND ANSWER of FACT" you could rely upon ! He taught us in the 1970 TVA PSO "Cummins Tech" Associate Engineering Program and followed our individual progress through completion! THANK YOU JACK ! .... Dan...

God bless Jack and Frances. They were always a happy presence at our professional gatherings. We miss them. My sympathies to their children and grandchildren.

I had the privilege of knowing Jack and learning from him over the last thirteen years through Power Systems Relaying committee. I will surely miss his guidance and knowledge at the meetings. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

As a cherished friend and mentor, Jack was always there to offer insight in life and work - a truly very special person. It was a privilege to have known him.

Charlie Henville was one of Jack's many colleagues

Jack was a great friend of mine, and a tremendous contributor to the field of power system protection. Over the years he has provided me with great insights on how to be a better protection engineer and a better person. A true gentleman, and all of us who knew him have been enriched by being a part of his life. I grieve with the family and the extended "family" of protection engineers while still celebrating his life.

I am very sad to hear of your loss. You are in the thoughts and prayers of my family.
